How do I get there?

From Spain :
Orgiva is a 45-minute drive south of Granada , and more or less the same north of Motril, on the Costa Tropical.

Coming from Granada , drivers should take the ringroad exit south towards Motril, along the E902/N323 past satellite towns such as Padul and Durcal, for half an hour until the left turn off the motorway into the Alpujarra, past the windmills on the right, through the village of Lanjaron , and on to Orgiva.

Coming from the south coast, whether from Almeria or Malaga, drivers should take the N340 to 3km west of Motril, and then head north, inland, up the E902 (also called N323) along the river channel until the bridge just before the Rules Dam (La Presa de Rules). Cross the bridge and follow the road to the north, following the road markings to the Alpujarras. Then follow signposts to Orgiva back left over the river and into the town.
